Oxana Timofeeva

Oxana Timofeeva is a senior research fellow at the Institute of Philosophy of Russian Academy of Science in Moscow, a member of artistic collective "Chto Delat" ("What is to be Done", Russia), and a fellow of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at Humboldt University in Berlin.

She is the author of the books Introduction to the Erotic Philosophy of Georges Bataille (2009), and the recently published History of Animals: An Essay on Negativity, Immanence and Freedom (2012).
